Wildflower honey

Diligent honey bees have written the story of colourful meadow flowers in the wildflower honey. Due to its aroma and sweetness, it is one of the favourite honey types.

Blagovna znamka: Medex
Intended use: Food
Product shape: honey
Product packaging: 480 g jar
The product can be bought only in physical stores.

Raw wildflower honey from Medex is of controlled quality. You can recognise it for its bright colour and pleasant scent of fruit and nectar-rich meadow flowers. On the sweetness scale, it is classified as medium to strong, or even very strong. It is mostly opaque, rarely transparent, and crystallises rapidly. Crystallisation is a natural phenomenon that does not cause chemical changes and does not influence the quality of honey.

Wildflower honey is a beloved product among both children and adults. It is most widely used as a bread spread or as a sweetener for tea, but you can also use it with other dishes, especially those made from dairy products.

Medex wildflower honey is available in 250 g, 450 g or 900 g jars, or in 480 g plastic bottle. The latter is especially handy to use, because honey does not seep, so you can easily entrust it to children with clumsy fingers.

You can eat wildflower honey on its own with a spoon, or spread it on bread, add it to pastries, yogurt, ricotta, flakes or fruit. It also tastes great with light meat dishes, in salads and in different drinks. When preparing drinks, be careful not to put honey in liquids that are very hot, since its most important substances lose their healing properties at high temperatures.

Natural honey slowly crystallises, but heating it up to 40 °C liquifies it again and keeps all its natural properties and substances.

Store in a dark place with temperature below 25 °C.

Honey

Honey is a natural sweet gift, given to us by bees that make it from flower nectar (floral honey) or from insect secretions that remain on trees as sticky liquid (honeydew honey). Floral honey types are wildflower honey, acacia honey, chestnut honey, lime honey, and canola honey; honeydew honey types are forest honey, fir honey, maple honey, oak honey, and spruce honey. Bees process nectar or honeydew, enrich it with their gland secretions, and store it in the beehive to ripen. Honey is the source of solar energy and life fuel in the beehive. It contains valuable nutrients, and is a rich nourishment and cosmetic substance.
