Propolis, bonbons, 30 pcs
Must have bonbons for colder weather.
The name of the Propolis Bonbons itself tells how essential they are. The word propolis is of Greek origin and means to defend a city from the enemy. Propolis has helped bees to thrive as a species for more than 45 million years. It is the foundation of health for bees, enabling robust development and life of the colonies in the beehive.
Propolis Bonbons also contain vitamins A and C that contribute to the normal function of the immune system, while vitamin A also contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes. Propolis, vitamins A and C, and essential peppermint oil combined in bonbons are a perfect treatment for a sore throat.
What is more, apart from their health effects, Propolis Bonbons are also delicious and you will enjoy taking them anywhere, anytime. Propolis is a bee product, used as a sealant to maintain a healthy beehive. It contains different plant resins, gathered by bees from tree buds, and enriched by their gland secretions and added wax. Bees use this sticky mixture to fix the combs and coat the inner walls of the hive, thus preventing the penetration of humidity and wind, and protecting the hive from microbes. Bees also use propolis to embalm large intruders who enter the hive and subsequently cannot be removed. Propolis prohibits decomposition, which prevents infections and diseases in the bees. Propolis also evaporates in the hive and provides natural protection, enabling healthy development of the bee colony. The main healing substances in propolis are bioflavonoids – plant colourings that protect plants from microorganisms. The content of bioflavonoids determines the quality of propolis; therefore Medex has standardised these contents and guaranteed the quality of the product.
Vitamin A contributes to the normal function of the immune system, and to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
