MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organosulfur compound that occurs naturally in plants, and is present in small amounts in foods and beverages rich with proteins.
The process of MSM formation begins in the seawater when algae and planktonic organisms die. The compounds formed during this decomposition evaporate in the stratosphere, concentrate in the clouds, and fall down to Earth with rain. The amounts of MSM found in the natural sources are very scarce; therefore, the MSM used as a food supplement is synthesized in laboratories.
MSM + vitamin C contains a patented compound OptiMSM®, which is clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and promote youthful skin appearance, and Vitamin C, which is a perfect complement to the MSM.
