Erythritol is a natural sweetener in the form of tiny crystals, obtained by natural fermentation process. In nature, it can be found in different types of fruit, such as pears, grapes, melons, and in fermented products such as soy sauce, wine and sake.
Erythritol is a great substitute for white sugar, syrup and artificial sweeteners. It is naturally sweet and similar to ordinary sugar in its appearance and similar structure.
Erythritol can be used to sweeten hot and cold beverages, raw cakes, smoothies or sprinkle fresh fruit. Due to its persistence of high temperature it is suitable for cooking and baking. Its sweetness is about 2/3 of the ordinary, white sugar.
In recipes use: 1 teaspoon of sugar = 1.5 teaspoons of erythritol.
Erythritol is distributed in re-closeable packaging and it retains its quality even after opening. After opening store the product in a dry and cold place up to a temperature of 25 ° C.
