The healing powers of honey and black radish have been know by our grandmothers who were making syrup for healing the most persistent cough. The Black Radish syrup from Medex follows this traditional recipe; moreover, we have enriched it with propolis and vitamin A, which contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
Although syrup was initially developed for adults, children will love its pleasant taste as well. Honey acts as a preservative; you can therefore store an open bottle at room temperature and use it until its best before date.
There is a measuring spoon enclosed for easier use.
Recommended daily allowance is 40 ml (8 measuring spoons; 5 ml each).
- Adults: 2 measuring spoons 4 times per day.
- Children: 1 measuring spoon 4 times per day.
For one month of regular use:

Individuals allergic to propolis should not use this product. Do not exceed the recommended daily allowance. Food supplements are not a substitute for a well-balanced and diverse diet. Keep the product away from children! Due to natural ingredients, there can be slight deviations in composition and appearance of the product.
Store in a dark, dry place with temperature below 25 °C.

Honey is a natural sweet gift, given to us by bees that make it from flower nectar (floral honey) or from insect secretions that remain on trees as sticky liquid (honeydew honey). Floral honey types are wildflower honey, acacia honey, chestnut honey, lime honey, and canola honey; honeydew honey types are forest honey, fir honey, maple honey, oak honey, and spruce honey. Bees process nectar or honeydew, enrich it with their gland secretions, and store it in the beehive to ripen. Honey is the source of solar energy and life fuel in the beehive. It contains precious nutrients and is a powerful substance.
Black radish (Raphanus sativus)
Black radish is a traditional food dating back to the Ancient Romans. Its most beneficial substances are found just under its black skin. The syrup was traditionally prepared by hollowing out the root and filling it with honey. This method of preparing natural syrup has been passed down from earlier generations and is still used today.
